What is it, and why should I go to Palm Clinic?

Palm Clinic has over 6 years of experience of using the Fraxel lasersystem, being the first medical clinic in New Zealand to be using Fraxel. Our clinic consists of highly trained and experienced Doctors and Nurses, and Skin Care Therapist.

Fraxel is the original and extensively researched fractional lasertreatment. It was developed & is approved by the FDA in the USA.Palm Clinic’s Fraxel is registered with MedSafe New Zealand.

Fraxel re:fine® treatment—for prevention and maintenanceThe most gentle option, Fraxel re:fine treatment is a cosmeticprocedure that treats minor skin damage, preventing the signsof aging so you can maintain a youthful look. What it treats: finelines around the eyes, age spots/sunspots, pigment irregularitiesand uneven skin tone.

Fraxel re:store® treatment—for mild to severe skin damage The original and most popular Fraxel treatment, Fraxel re:store treatment can resurface damaged skin and uncover the skin of your youth—all with minimal impact on your daily routine. What it treats: wrinkles around the eyes, acne scars, surgical scars, age spots/sunspots, melasma and Actinic Keratoses.

The Fraxel re:store Dual – for both superficial and deeper treatments at the same time. This wavelength laser was engineered to treat across both superficial and deeper conditions at the same time, on all skin types and anywhere on the body. What it treats: As above, treating the same conditions as per the Refine and Restore treatments, but a smaller percentage of both treatments at the same time. After treatment, swelling may be more evident than Fraxel re-fine or re:store.

When do the results appear , and how long do they last?

The results are both immediate and progressive. Soon afterthe treatment, your skin will feel softer and smoother, lookbrighter and show a more even skin tone. The next 3 to 6months will bring more improvement as the deeper layers ofthe skin continue to create new collagen. Results are longlasting, depending on your lifestyle, age, skin condition andskincare regime.

To gain the most advantage after your Fraxel treatments and for the long term, we suggest you follow a quality and activeskincare regime after treatments are complete.
