WHY WINTER

The season most people overlook is the one that matters most.

With UV exposure at its annual low, winter is the safest and most effective window for the treatments that create real, structural change in the skin. Resurfacing, collagen induction, deep biomodelling — these therapies work most powerfully now, and their results continue to develop over the weeks that follow.

Clients who begin their Winter Skin Revival Programme in July typically arrive at spring with skin that is measurably, visibly different. The cold air and low humidity that challenge your skin’s surface are the very conditions that make deeper clinical intervention most worthwhile.

UNDERSTANDING SKIN BARRIER COMPROMISE

Winter doesn’t just affect how
your skin looks. It affects how it works.

The skin barrier — known clinically as the stratum corneum — is your skin’s outermost protective layer. Think of it as a brick wall: skin cells are the bricks, and a carefully balanced mixture of lipids, ceramides and natural moisturising factors is the mortar that holds them together. When this structure is intact, moisture stays in and environmental stressors stay out.

In winter, cold air, wind and indoor heating strip away the lipids that hold this structure together. The barrier thins. Moisture escapes. The skin becomes reactive, sensitive and less able to defend itself. This is barrier compromise — and it’s the underlying reason why skin looks duller, feels tighter and ages more visibly in the colder months.

A compromised barrier isn’t just a cosmetic concern. It is a clinical condition — and it responds well to the right clinical intervention.

This is where Prescription Peels play an important role by removing the layer of damaged, poorly-functioning surface cells and stimulating the production of healthy new ones beneath. The result is not simply smoother skin. It is a fundamentally healthier skin barrier — more resilient, more hydrated, and better prepared for the seasons ahead.

WHAT IS SKIN LONGEVITY

Your skin is a living organ.
Treat it like one.

Skin longevity is the practice of investing in your skin’s long-term health — not chasing trends or masking concerns, but building the underlying quality, resilience and vitality of the skin itself.

It’s the difference between skin that looks good today and skin that continues to improve over years. At Palm Clinic, everything we do is guided by this philosophy: clinical precision in service of lasting results.

Skin longevity is not a treatment. It is an ongoing relationship between you, your skin, and the right clinical expertise — building results that compound over time.

HOW THE TREATMENTS WORK TOGETHER

Four pathways. Compounding results.

Each treatment targets a different layer and mechanism of skin health. Together, they address texture, hydration, collagen architecture and surface renewal — building results that no single treatment could achieve alone.

SURFACE RENEWAL & BARRIER SUPPORT

Prescription Peels

When the skin barrier is depleted or disrupted, the skin becomes less resilient and more prone to dullness, sensitivity and uneven texture. A carefully managed course of prescription peels stimulates cell renewal, progressively restoring hydration, texture, tone and barrier integrity.

Ideal for: barrier compromise, dullness, uneven texture, pigmentation, congestion

DEEP BIOMODELLING

Profhilo

Unlike traditional fillers, Profhilo is a high-concentration hyaluronic acid injectable that diffuses through the skin tissue, remodelling the architecture from within. It stimulates four types of collagen and elastin simultaneously — restoring firmness, hydration and a luminosity that is difficult to achieve any other way.

Ideal for: skin quality, firmness, hydration, early laxity

COLLAGEN INDUCTION

Dermapen Needling

Precisely controlled micro-needling triggers the skin’s natural repair response, stimulating new collagen and elastin deep in the dermis. The result over a course of three is a measurable improvement in skin density, firmness and the appearance of fine lines and scarring.

Ideal for: fine lines, laxity, scarring, skin density

SURFACE RENEWAL & BARRIER SUPPORT

ResurfX Laser

A non-ablative fractional laser that delivers controlled energy into the deeper layers of the skin, creating micro-channels that trigger significant collagen remodelling. Tone, texture and skin quality improve progressively over the months following treatment — with results continuing to develop long after your course ends.

Ideal for: skin tone, texture, collagen stimulation, resurfacing

WHAT TO EXPECT

Results that build.
Skin that endures.

Skin revival is not an overnight transformation. It is a considered process — and the results reflect that. Most clients notice an initial improvement in radiance and texture within the first few weeks. The deeper changes — improved firmness, more even tone, a quality of skin that simply looks well — continue to develop over months.

The goal is skin that looks better at the end of winter than it did at the beginning, and better still come spring.

2-3 weeks

Improved radiance, smoother texture & hydration

6-8 weeks

Firmer, more even skin & visible collagen response

3 months

Measurable collagen improvement & lasting skin quality
