Arm Liposuction – Before and After Photos
Droopy upper arms are sometimes referred to as batwings and can be treated with liposuction.
For many women bulkiness of the upper arm can be quite distressing. Often the arm will rub when the arm swings while walking. It may be impossible to buy a jacket that fits and wearing an open sleeve dress or shirt may be quite embarrassing. Fortunately, upper arm liposuction can solve or significantly reduce these problems quickly and simply.
Through two small incisions on the under surface of the arm, liposuction reduces the fatty deposits in the arms while maintaining completely normal shape and function. Dr. Mills may recommend an arm lift. A small pad of fatty tissue sometimes bunches up where the arm meets the chest in front and this can be removed at the same time.
The lower arm can also be treated with liposuction where necessary.

A special arm garment is worn for 3 weeks. This is not visible under a dark long sleeve shirt allowing an early return to work.
Most arm reduction procedures take from between 60 – 90 minutes.
