Breast reduction for men

Liposuction for male breast

Liposuction for Gynaecomastia. The male chest is a common area of concern for men.  Many men have a problem called gynaecomastia which prersents as early as puberty and can be related to a nubbin of breast tissue.  More commonly though the “moobs” are formed by excess fat in the chest caused by the fat cells in that area preferentially attracting fat.  So for many men the chest is the first area to put weight on and the last area for fat to go during exercise and diet.

Liposuction or liposculpture are the best ways of treating this condition.  Under a special type of local anaesthetic the fat is suctioned out of the chest leaving a contour which more closely follows the pectoral muscles resulting in a more masculine and toned appearance.
