Spring Awakening
Reveal the skin winter left behind
After months of winter, your skin is ready to shed, renew and emerge. Spring is not just a change of season — it is a biological invitation, and the right clinical treatments meet it perfectly.
Explore treatments.
Your skin has been waiting
all winter to do this.
Skin renews itself through a continuous cycle called cell turnover — new cells forming in the deeper layers of the dermis, gradually migrating upward and eventually shedding from the surface. In a young, healthy skin this cycle takes around 28 days. As we age, or when the skin is under seasonal stress, this process slows. Cells accumulate on the surface longer than they should, creating the dullness, congestion and uneven texture that builds through winter.
Spring marks the natural moment when this cycle wants to accelerate. Longer days, slightly warmer temperatures and increasing light exposure signal to the skin that conditions are changing — and it responds. Our Spring Awakening programme works in precise alignment with this biology, using clinical peels and facial treatments to accelerate the cell turnover the skin is already attempting, and laser and light therapies to correct the damage that accumulated underneath.
UV damage doesn’t show itself immediately.
Spring is when it surfaces.
Photoageing, the premature ageing of the skin caused by UV exposure, is cumulative and largely invisible until it isn’t. Each summer, UV radiation penetrates the skin and disrupts the DNA of skin cells, degrades collagen and elastin fibres, and triggers the melanin production that creates uneven pigmentation. The damage is absorbed quietly, over years, before it becomes visible as brown spots, redness, broken capillaries and a loss of skin clarity.
Spring is frequently when clients first notice these changes — the skin has had a winter’s rest from active UV exposure, and the damage that was lurking beneath the surface becomes more apparent as cell turnover resumes. It is also, crucially, the last window of the year when UV levels are low enough to safely perform the treatments that correct this damage.
October is the last safe month for laser and light treatments.
ResurfX Fractional Laser and PPL Photorejuvenation both require low UV exposure during the treatment and recovery period. As UV index rises through October in New Zealand, the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation — paradoxically, UV-triggered darkening of the very pigmentation being treated — increases significantly. Treating now means the skin heals in low-UV conditions, results develop fully, and you arrive at summer with genuinely corrected, more even-toned skin — rather than beginning the process as summer UV peaks.
This is not simply a seasonal promotion. It is a clinical reality: the treatments that correct photoageing are most safely and effectively performed when UV is lowest.
There is a difference between treating
a concern and improving skin quality.
Much of cosmetic medicine focuses on correcting specific concerns — a line, a spot, a loss of volume. Skin quality is a different and broader concept: the overall hydration, translucency, smoothness and vitality of the skin itself, independent of any single concern. It is the quality that makes skin look well — the kind of luminosity that isn’t easily attributed to any one treatment.
Sunekos is designed specifically to improve skin quality. An injectable combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids, it works at the extracellular matrix level — the structural scaffold beneath the visible skin — stimulating the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid simultaneously. The result is skin that is genuinely better hydrated, more even in tone, and more resilient. Not corrected. Improved.
A skin quality injectable, not a filler.
Sunekos does not add volume or change facial structure. It works invisibly, at the level of the skin’s own biology, stimulating the proteins and hydration molecules the skin produces naturally but produces less of as we age. The effect is cumulative across a programme — and the results are the kind that people notice without being able to name: your skin simply looks better.
Pathways to spring skin
Each treatment in our Spring programme addresses a different layer of skin renewal — from surface brightening and resurfacing to deep quality improvement and pigmentation correction.
Prescription Peels
In spring, the skin’s natural cell turnover is accelerating. A prescription peel series works with this momentum — removing the final layer of dull, winter-thickened surface cells and revealing the fresher, better-hydrated skin developing beneath. Each session in a course of three progressively increases in intensity, building toward a genuine spring reveal.
Course of 3: $695
Ideal for: dullness, uneven texture, barrier restoration
Noon Glow Facial Series
The Luxury NOON Facial utilizes advanced active formulations, chemical exfoliation, and electroporation to deliver deeply targeted skin rejuvenation. The treatment concludes with a sculpting massage and a soothing Igloo Mask to leave the complexion calm, refreshed, and visibly reset.
Course of 3: $695
Ideal for: skin reset, brightening & barrier focus
PPL Photorejuvenation
Pulsed light therapy targets the melanin in pigmented lesions and the haemoglobin in broken capillaries — breaking down the accumulated UV damage that has surfaced through winter. The result is a more even, clearer skin tone. Like ResurfX, PPL requires low UV conditions during treatment and recovery, making October the definitive window.
Course of 3: from $890 · 15 min: $330 · 30 min: $550
Ideal for: Pigmentation, redness, capillaries, sun damage
ResurfX Laser
A non-ablative fractional laser targeting the deeper layers of skin with controlled energy, stimulating collagen remodelling and correcting tone and texture. Critically, results develop over weeks to months after treatment — meaning a course completed in August or September continues to improve through spring and peaks as summer arrives.
Course of 3 (face): $2,970
Ideal for: skin tone, texture, resurfacing, collagen stimulation
Sunekos
An injectable combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids that works at the extracellular matrix level, stimulating the skin’s own production of collagen, elastin and natural hydration. Unlike traditional skin boosters, Sunekos targets skin quality broadly — the overall hydration, translucency and resilience of the skin — rather than correcting a specific concern.
Full face course: $2,295 · Partial face course: $2,100
Ideal for: skin quality, hydration, early ageing, radiance
