RFA is a radiofrequency treatment and considered the gold-standard approach for treating varicose veins. It offers the longest lasting results and causes minimal discomfort.
Pioneered in Auckland, NZ by our founder, Dr. John Barrett, UGS uses small injections of a solution called sclerosant to close down varicose veins, alleviating symptoms.
Microsclerotherapy treats spider veins using very fine needles to inject sclerosant into the affected veins. This causes them to close off and disappear.
EVLA remains a very effective technique but has recently been superceded by Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA), which provides longer lasting results and less discomfort.
Offered exclusively in Auckland, NZ by Palm Clinic, Exotherme Laser treatment zaps broken veins and spider veins causing them to close off and disappear.
In our Vein Treatment Video, Dr Sam Dunn and the Palm Clinic Vein Care team explain what you can expect before, during, and after your non-surgical vein treatment.
Minimally Invasive Approach
Surgery is no longer the best course of action for treating varicose veins. Our minimally invasive approach enables the non-surgical treatment of varicose veins and other common vein conditions, meaning you won’t be subject to general anaesthetic, scarring or lengthy recovery times.
In most cases our treatments are straightforward walk-in, walk-out procedures so you can be back doing the things you enjoy right away.
As leaders in the field of vein treatment, Palm Clinic has performed over 3,000 laser treatments and over ten thousand injection treatments for varicose veins in Auckland, NZ.
Our team of Phlebologists (vein doctors), vein physicians and vascular sonographers are all experts in treating vein conditions. Read more about what to expect from your treatment at Palm Clinic including how we can support with your medical insurance claim.
